2. What Karting Hub UK provides
Karting Hub UK is a specialist advertising and community platform. It provides a private used marketplace, paid Business Shops, karting business profiles, driver profiles, events, reviews and promotional placements.
Unless Karting Hub UK is expressly identified as the seller, it is not a party to a transaction for a kart, engine, part or other item. We do not take custody of goods, process the purchase price of advertised goods, arrange delivery or guarantee a seller, buyer, item or claim.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
- You must be at least 18 to purchase a service, sell an item or agree to these terms.
- A profile for a driver under 18 must be submitted or authorised by a parent or legal guardian.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
4. Listings and seller responsibilities
Sellers must have the legal right to advertise the item and must describe its identity, condition, price and material faults honestly. Images must show the relevant item or service and must not infringe another person's rights.
The Shop Used section is for private second-hand adverts. Businesses must place new or trade stock in a Business Shop. We may move or remove content submitted to the wrong section.
You must not advertise stolen, counterfeit, illegal, unsafe or recalled items, misleading business opportunities, or anything that would breach law or karting regulations. We may ask for evidence, edit obvious formatting errors, suspend a listing or remove content.
5. Buyers and safe transactions
Buyers should verify the seller and item, inspect high-value goods where possible, retain written records and use a safe payment method. Never send money merely because a listing appears on Karting Hub UK. Report suspicious content to us promptly.
The buyer and seller are responsible for agreeing payment, collection, delivery, ownership transfer, returns and any warranties that apply to their transaction.
6. Fees and packages
Current one-off marketplace prices are Standard £4.99, Featured £9.99 and Premium £14.99. Current one-off directory prices are Standard Business £9.99, Featured Business £19.99 and Premium Partner £49.99.
Current one-off Business Shop prices are Starter Shop £29.99 for up to 10 active or pending products, Pro Shop £59.99 for up to 30, and an Extra Product Pack at £19.99 for another 10 spaces. Sold, rejected, archived and hidden products do not use an active product space.
A new Driver Sponsor Profile costs £5 one-off and includes a public driver page plus Seeking Sponsors status after approval. The optional Featured Driver upgrade is a separate £4.99 one-off payment. Other current one-off upgrades are Standard-to-Featured Business £10 and Standard-to-Featured Listing £5. Banner advertising is a separate monthly service at the price shown on the Advertise page or agreed in writing.
The total price is shown before payment. We do not charge commission on the eventual sale of a marketplace item. We may change prices for future purchases but will not retrospectively change a completed order.
7. Duration and featured placement
A one-off payment is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. A listing or business profile may remain live while the relevant service operates and the content remains accurate and compliant, but a one-off payment is not a lifetime guarantee.
Business Shop limits apply to active and pending products. A newly paid shop and every submitted product remain hidden until Karting Hub UK approves them. Shop owners must keep stock availability accurate and must complete product sales, refunds, delivery and customer service directly with the buyer.
Featured and premium placements provide the benefits described at purchase. Positions can rotate and vary by device, availability and other active promotions. We do not guarantee a particular number of impressions, enquiries or sales.
8. Starting the service, cancellations and refunds
When you ask us to begin the advertising or promotional service immediately, work may start during the statutory cancellation period. If you are a consumer, your legal cancellation rights remain available as required by law, although an amount may be payable for service already supplied at your request. Once a service has been fully performed after your express request and acknowledgement, the cancellation right may end.
If you paid by mistake, were charged twice, or the purchased service was not supplied, contact us promptly. Business customers do not receive consumer cancellation rights, but this does not limit rights relating to services not delivered as agreed.
Payment for a Driver Sponsor Profile does not guarantee approval. If Karting Hub UK declines the profile and does not provide the paid profile service, the £5 payment will be returned to the original payment method. A profile may later be removed without refund if its information becomes inaccurate, unlawful or breaches these terms.
Payment for a Business Shop does not guarantee publication. If Karting Hub UK declines the initial shop and does not provide the paid service, the shop payment will be returned to the original payment method. A live shop or product may later be paused or removed without refund if its information becomes inaccurate, unlawful or breaches these terms.
To request cancellation or a refund review, email info@karting-hub-uk.co.uk with the payment email and Stripe receipt.
9. Business, event, driver and advertising submissions
Submissions may be reviewed before publication. Approval is discretionary and may be withdrawn if information becomes inaccurate or breaches these terms. Businesses are responsible for keeping contact and website information current.
Advertisers must own or have permission to use supplied artwork, logos and claims. Advertising must be accurate and lawful. Campaign dates, placement and creative requirements may also be agreed by email.
10. Reviews, comments and user content
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and must not be defamatory, abusive, incentivised without disclosure or posted by the reviewed seller. News comments must be relevant, respectful and must not contain threats, harassment, unlawful claims, advertising, spam or another person's private information.
Reviews and comments are moderated before publication. Submission does not guarantee publication, and we may approve, refuse, hide or remove content that is unreliable, unlawful, off-topic or breaches these terms.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Karting Hub UK a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize and display that content as needed to provide and promote the service. You can request removal, subject to legitimate record-keeping needs.
11. Suspension and removal
We may refuse, suspend or remove content or accounts to protect users, comply with law, investigate fraud, enforce these terms or maintain the service. Where reasonable, we will explain the decision and allow an opportunity to correct the issue.
12. Availability and liability
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to those protections, Karting Hub UK is not responsible for a third party's item, conduct, payment, delivery or promises. Business users are responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from their own failure to follow these terms.
13. Changes, law and disputes
We may update these terms for future use of the service. Material changes will be published with a revised date. The laws of England and Wales apply, but consumers retain any mandatory protections and right to use the courts available to them by law.
